Ducks, Radko Gudas agree to 3-year pact with reported $4M AAV
The Anaheim Ducks and defenseman Radko Gudas agreed to a three-year deal, the team announced Saturday.
His pact carries an average annual value of $4 million, according to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff.
Gudas will end his three-year tenure with the Eastern Conference champion Florida Panthers.
The 33-year-old recorded two goals, 15 assists, and 79 penalty minutes over 72 games last season, averaging over 17 minutes of ice time per contest. Gudas also blocked 124 shots and notched 312 hits. The former third-round pick played an integral role in the Panthers' path to winning the Prince of Wales Trophy, throwing 91 hits over 21 contests.
Over his 11-year career, Gudas has recorded 33 goals, 131 helpers, and 843 penalty minutes. He's also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Philadelphia Flyers, and Washington Capitals.
