New Jersey Devils forward Jack Hughes is in the lineup for Tuesday's clash with the San Jose Sharks after missing 17 games, the team announced.
Hughes suffered a dislocated shoulder in the club's second game of the season but didn't require surgery. He was off to a terrific start, recording three points before the injury.
Devils head coach Lindy Ruff said Hughes may start on the wing rather than center, according to team reporter Amanda Stein.
New Jersey is 9-6-4 and sits sixth in the Metropolitan Division.
