Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson will miss four-to-six weeks with a lower-body injury, the club confirmed Tuesday.
Karlsson has a broken foot, The Athletic's Jesse Granger reported Monday.
The 28-year-old was injured blocking a shot in Friday's win over the Anaheim Ducks.
Vegas is already without key forwards Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty, and Alex Tuch due to injury. The Golden Knights have a 4-4-0 record so far this season.
Karlsson registered three points in eight games before sustaining his injury. He'll be sorely missed in the Golden Knights' lineup, as he logs minutes on the power play and penalty kill.
