Leafs' Hyman fined $5K for high-sticking Jets' Pionk

The NHL fined Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman $5,000 for high-sticking Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk, the league's Department of Player Safety announced Thursday.

Hyman was assessed a two-minute high-sticking penalty on the play in the final minutes of Toronto's 5-2 loss to the Jets on Thursday.
The 28-year-old has 15 goals and 18 assists in 42 games this season.
