Boston Bruins star forward Brad Marchand has been placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list, the team announced.
Boston recently had two games postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. The club returned to the ice Thursday versus the New York Islanders.
Marchand has put together another strong campaign in 2021, posting 12 goals and 22 assists in 29 games to lead the Bruins in scoring while averaging nearly 19 minutes of ice time per contest.
The Bruins took Saturday's clash 3-2, extending the Sabres' winless streak to 17 games.
