Streit had two helpers in a 2-1 win over Boston on Thursday, but did leave the game in the third period after taking a hit to the face.
The facial injury is probably not a big deal, but we'll call him day-to-day for now. Streit can no longer be relied on to be a shutdown defender, but there's nothing wrong with his offensive game. It'll be interesting to see whether he and the Isles will be able to work out a contract extension this offseason.
