Bruins sign St. Cloud State's Jack Ahcan

Free-agent defenseman Jack Ahcan is joining the Boston Bruins, he confirmed Thursday night.

The 22-year-old posted 25 points in 33 games during his senior season at St. Cloud State.

Ahcan, who served as the Huskies' captain, was never drafted to the NHL.

He produced 103 points in 144 NCAA contests.
