St. Louis Blues star Vladimir Tarasenko will not play during an upcoming two-game road trip, the team announced Friday.

Tarasenko will miss at least the next two games against the Boston Bruins and the Detroit Red Wings before he's re-evaluated next week.

The Russian forward exited Thursday's contest with an upper-body injury in the first period and did not return.

Tarasenko has three goals and seven assists through 10 games this season.
