The Boston Bruins have signed defenseman Connor Clifton to a three-year, $3-million contract extension through 2022-2023, the team announced Monday.
Clifton, 24, has one more season on his current deal and will make $725,000 in 2019-20 before the extension kicks in.
The right-shooting blue-liner only recorded one point in 19 games last season but saw his role increase during the Bruins' run to the Stanley Cup Final. He had five points and averaged just over 13 minutes in 18 postseason contests.
