The NHL reviewed Brad Marchand's punch to the head of Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Scott Harrington during Game 3 on Tuesday night, and the Boston Bruins winger is expected to avoid supplemental discipline, reports The Athletic's Aaron Portzline.

Marchand wasn't penalized for the incident, which occurred in the dying minutes of the Blue Jackets' 2-1 victory, and Harrington wasn't injured.
The Bruins' superstar pest drew the ire of hockey fans earlier in the series after stomping on Cam Atkinson's stick on a faceoff in Game 1. Marchand was also in the spotlight during last year's playoffs for two separate licking incidents and has had a lengthy list of run-ins with the Department of Player Safety, including six suspensions over his 10-year career.
Marchand set a career high with 100 points in the regular season and leads the Bruins in playoff scoring with four goals and five assists in 10 games.
Game 4 of the second-round series goes Thursday with Columbus holding a 2-1 advantage.
