Buffalo Sabres broadcaster Rick Jeanneret was removed from KeyBank Center on a stretcher and taken to hospital during the third period of Saturday's contest versus the Anaheim Ducks, according to Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News.
The 76-year-old was feeling light-headed and stopped talking during the broadcast, Harrington adds. Following the game, a Sabres spokesperson said there was no update on Jeanneret's condition.
Jeanneret started with the Sabres in 1971 and is honored in the Hockey Hall of Fame as a Foster Hewitt Award winner for outstanding broadcasting.
