Winnipeg man takes home more than $1M thanks to Laine's 5-goal game
Christopher Haley of Winnipeg just became Patrik Laine's biggest fan.
Haley entered the Sobeys/Safeway Million Dollar Score & Win contest and thanks to Laine, who recorded the first five-goal game in seven years in the Jets' 8-4 win over the St. Louis Blues, took home the grand prize of $1 million.
It didn't end there though, as Haley also took home $100,000 for Laine's fourth goal and $1,000 in gift cards for his hat trick goal.
What a night for @PatrikLaine29 and Christopher Haley of Winnipeg.

A 5 goal game means a Million Dollar prize, plus $100,000 for the 4th goal & $1,000 in Gift Cards for the 3rd goal.
We have been in contact with Christopher this evening.
Congratulations from Sobeys Safeway!
As for Laine, the five-goal output helped him overtake the NHL goal-scoring lead with 19.
