Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman will miss at least the next three games with an upper-body injury, according to the team.
The reigning Norris Trophy winner will be re-evaluated in a week.
Hedman sustained the injury Friday night after a second-period collision with Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves sent him awkwardly into the boards.
Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said postgame that Hedman's injury wasn't a concussion.
Tampa Bay plays the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night, the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday, the Nashville Predators on Thursday, and the Montreal Canadiens next Saturday.
