Lundestrom has shown flashes of offensive upside and has the potential to develop into a top-six, two-way center at the pro level, according to ISS.
The left-shooting forward reached No. 3 in NHL Central Scouting's midterm rankings, but he slipped to No. 8 in the final edition.
"He's got an excellent combination of speed and skills with excellent offensive instincts," Central Scouting's European director, Goran Stubb, told NHL.com's Mike Morreale back in the fall. "He has smooth hands, is very good with the puck, and knows when to move the puck quickly or when to be patient with it."
