Add a recently resurgent team from South Florida to the list of reported suitors for one of the most coveted deadline targets.
The Florida Panthers are showing serious interest in New York Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
McDonagh has a 10-team no-trade list that reportedly doesn't include the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Panthers' cross-state rivals, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Florida has won seven of its last 10, including a huge 6-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.
