Wild's Zach Parise: Diagnosed with mumps
Parise has been diagnosed with the mumps and is not in the lineup Monday against the Kings.
Analysis:
Teammate Jason Pominville is also sitting out Monday with the condition, as the Wild have become the second team in the league to be stricken with the illness after Vancouver was hit last week. Given the nature of the illness, it's probable more members of the team will be diagnosed, as well, while Parise and Pominville will be placed in quarantine for five days.
