Clutterbuck to take spin on Islanders' top line with Tavares
Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports
The New York Islanders are evidently running low on wingers to try on John Tavares' top line.
Fourth-line wing and hits leader Cal Clutterbuck will flank the superstar center with Josh Bailey for Saturday's game versus the Edmonton Oilers, the team announced.
Tavares is still producing at a solid rate despite seeing wingers cycle through, picking up five goals and nine points in 11 games. He's shared the ice with Andrew Ladd, Jason Chimera, Shane Prince, and Anthony Beauvillier among others this year after the Islanders let Kyle Okposo walk in free agency.
