Sergei Plotnikov feels much more comfortable back at home.
The 26-year-old - who enjoyed minor stints with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Arizona Coyotes last season - entered KHL goal of the year talks on Thursday after setting up former Nashville Predators forward Steve Moses with a ridiculous between-the-legs pass.
After tallying three assists in 45 games in the NHL last season, Plotnikov has already amassed five goals and 16 points in 21 games with SKA Saint Petersburg.
