Baptiste exited Friday's preseason game against Toronto with an injury to his lower back.

Analysis:

The severity of Baptiste's injury still remains unknown, though this likely hurts his chances of making the NHL cut. At just 21 years old, he does have a chance of seeing his first NHL ice time at some point this season, however.
