Marc-Edouard Vlasic might have Kryptonian roots.
The San Jose Sharks defenseman insisted he was fine after being hit by Shea Weber's deflected shot during Game 2 against the Nashville Predators on Sunday night.
Vlasic no worse for wear after Weber's shot struck his visor. "Face of steel," he joked, when asked by a fan in the hall if he was alright.

Vlasic's visor protected him from what could have been a serious injury. He stayed in the game, logging over 24 minutes of ice time as the Sharks took a 2-0 series lead over the Predators with a 3-2 victory.
