After months of speculation, the quarterback market underwent seismic changes Tuesday.

With Aaron Rodgers finally agreeing to return to Green Bay for at least one more season, the Denver Broncos pushed all their chips to the middle of the table by acquiring Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks for a package of players and picks.

Let's take a look at the biggest fantasy winners and losers on both teams.

Broncos

Russell Wilson

With one of the best sets of skill-position players in the league and a quality defense, the Broncos' main offseason goal was to find a quarterback capable of making them a contender.

They did.

Wilson has been one of the NFL's best passers over the last decade, as well as an elite fantasy producer.

The former third-round pick finished as a top-12 fantasy QB (points per game) in eight of his 10 seasons with Seattle - falling just short during the other two campaigns (QB13 in 2021, QB16 in 2016).

Though he's leaving an offense with top-notch receivers like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, he'll be handed the keys to a Denver attack featuring several high-end talents who have yet to reach their potential due to subpar play from the quarterback position.

With almost a full offseason to get acclimated and build chemistry with his new teammates, a motivated Wilson should have no problem reserving a spot as a fantasy QB1 in 2022. Verdict: Winner

Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton

No one benefits from this trade more than Jeudy and Sutton, who now have a chance to grow into the premier players fantasy managers envisioned them becoming.

Jeudy's precision route running was never a fit with the quarterbacks Denver gave him, and his numbers suffered because of it. He's only found the end zone three times as a pro - something that's about to change in a major way with Wilson at the helm.

In Seattle, Wilson developed a great rapport with quick, hard-working receivers like Doug Baldwin and more recently Lockett, maximizing their skill sets to generate big-time production.

Year	Player	Rec	Yds	TDs
2015	Baldwin	78	1069	14
2016	Baldwin	94	1128	7
2017	Baldwin	75	991	8
2018	Lockett	57	965	10
2019	Lockett	82	1057	8
2020	Lockett	100	1054	10
2021	Lockett	73	1175	8

Jeudy will step into that role in what should be a career year in 2022.

While Sutton already has a 1,112-yard season on his resume from 2019, the last two years have been a mix of injuries and inconsistency.

If he can stay healthy, the 6-foot-4, 216-pound wideout will provide a discount version of what the big-bodied Metcalf delivered while catching passes from Wilson. Metcalf topped 900 yards with at least seven touchdowns in each of the last three years - including an impressive 1,303 yards and 10 scores in 2020.

Both Jeudy and Sutton should be viewed as top-24 fantasy options with a chance to flirt with WR1 stats if the Broncos' passing game hits its stride. Verdict: Big winners

Javonte Williams

It's hard to imagine the fantasy community could get more excited about Williams' outlook, but this trade will likely boost the hype to another level.

As a rookie, Williams showed us everything we needed to see in order to project him as a top fantasy back. He posted 903 rushing yards, 316 receiving yards, 43 receptions, and seven touchdowns while splitting time with veteran Melvin Gordon, who racked up similar stats.

As Gordon heads to free agency, fantasy managers are left daydreaming about the kind of stats their 21-year-old sophomore back could compile. Wilson's arrival will only improve the offense's efficiency, leading to more positive game scripts and scoring opportunities.

However, Broncos general manager George Paton did recently say that he's had positive discussions with Gordon and would like to have him back in the fold. We'll see if that materializes over the coming weeks, but regardless, the arrow is pointing up in a major way for Williams. Verdict: Winner

Albert Okwuegbunam

With Noah Fant heading to Seattle as part of the package to land Wilson, Okwuegbunam becomes the starting tight end in an ascendant Broncos offense.

Though his playing time has been limited behind Fant, the 23-year-old has flashed several times over his first two NFL campaigns. He saw a significant uptick in targets last season, catching 33 of the 40 passes thrown his way for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

That might not seem like much, but it's eyebrow-raising from the second tight end in a struggling passing attack.

Expect Okwuegbunam to be a hot name in fantasy breakout articles before the season, but for now, he belongs in the group of high-end TE2s with TE1 ceilings. Verdict: Big winner

Tim Patrick and K.J. Hamler

It's unlikely Patrick or Hamler will become weekly fantasy options unless an injury opens up a path to playing time, but they should be on your radar as bench stashes or late-round best-ball picks.

Patrick proved he was capable of producing as a WR3 when either Sutton or Jeudy was sidelined over the last two years, and he'll be even more valuable if that happens with Wilson under center.

Hamler is a better real-life field-stretching weapon and depth piece for the Broncos than a fantasy asset. Still, he's poised to make more plays with a true franchise quarterback on the field. Verdict: Winners

Seahawks

DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett

Most of the time, there's something positive to say about players on both sides of a trade. Sadly, there isn't much of a silver lining to this deal for the Seahawks, and that'll have a big impact on Metcalf's and Lockett's fantasy values.

Wilson is one of only a dozen or so set-it-and-forget-it quarterbacks, and Seattle's future without him could be bleak.

There's no in-house option ready to take over and Drew Lock is not the answer. Even last season's backup Geno Smith is about to become a free agent.

Looking outside the organization, the trade market is dwindling and the free-agent crop is led by flawed passers like Jameis Winston and Mitch Trubisky. Meanwhile, the rookie class is weaker than in recent years - even the best prospects likely need some time to develop.

Metcalf is a physically imposing outside receiver who can use his size and speed to win matchups. As we saw during Wilson's four-game absence last year, the 24-year-old was able to continue producing with stat lines of 5-98-2, 6-58-0, 2-96-1, and 6-43-2.

Unfortunately for Lockett, his game is more fine-tuned, so the Seahawks' decision at quarterback will have an even bigger effect on his fantasy outlook. Unless they pull off a surprising - and unexpected - move to land a star, it's likely Lockett will face a big challenge to keep his stats up in 2022.

Until we know the identity of Seattle's next QB, you should approach Metcalf as a mid- to low-end WR2 and Lockett as a WR3. Verdict: Big losers

Noah Fant

Unlike his former Broncos teammates, Fant won't get to enjoy the upgrade that Wilson provides the Denver offense. Instead, he's been shipped to Seattle, where he'll probably be forced to play with another average or below-average passer.

It's a tough break for a former first-round pick who was making his way into the low-end TE1 fantasy ranks the last two years - finishing as the TE12 and TE14.

Until Seattle can find an answer at QB, Fant will be more of a mid- to low-end TE2. Verdict: Loser

Chris Carson (and/or Rashaad Penny)

Carson's fantasy outlook features some red flags beyond just Wilson's departure. The neck injury that cost Carson the majority of the 2022 campaign could turn out to be career-ending.

It's also possible the Seahawks will spend to bring back Rashaad Penny, who surprisingly powered their offense down the stretch.

We'll continue to monitor Carson's rehab and Penny's free agency, but regardless of who gets the start at running back in Week 1, they're guaranteed to face more stacked boxes from defenses that no longer have to fear Wilson beating them over the top. Verdict: Losers

Drew Lock

It was clear that Lock was never going to be the long-term answer for the Broncos, so at least a new team gives him a fresh start.

Even so, nothing we've seen from the 25-year-old passer makes us think he's going to turn things around and develop into a starting-caliber NFL quarterback.

If the Seahawks can't find a suitable starter this offseason, there's a chance they'll decide to roll the dice with Lock - which would be terrible news for all the skill-position players in Seattle and would likely lead to a full-blown tank in 2022. Verdict: Slight winner

Every Monday during the season, theScore's Justin Boone runs down the recommended waiver wire pickups.

Rostered percentages are based on Yahoo leagues. Free Agent Budget (FAB) amounts are set off a $100 salary cap. Only players rostered in less than 60% of leagues are considered.

Quarterbacks

Mitchell Leff / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Jalen Hurts, Eagles

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
at ARI	17%	$4

Hurts' ceiling as an NFL passer has not been decided yet, but Sunday's performance proved he can be a viable fantasy option moving forward.

The rookie threw for 167 yards and a score while rushing 18 times for 106 yards against a tough Saints defense. Opponents should only get easier to handle defensively from here with matchups against Arizona and Dallas over the next two weeks.

The Cardinals are in the top half of the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks and have given up 30-plus rushing yards in six of their last 10 outings.

Hurts is a high-end QB2 streamer with QB1 upside if he can improve his passing numbers in his second start.

Philip Rivers, Colts

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. HOU	41%	$1

Rivers has become a regular in the waiver wire column, and he's continued to deliver with top-16 fantasy finishes in five straight games.

Though he lacks the week-winning upside to be considered a high-end fantasy option, Rivers has been a consistent producer during the second half of the season.

The 39-year-old will now take on a Texans defense he just posted 285 yards and two touchdowns against in Week 13. The Texans followed that performance up by allowing Mitch Trubisky to toss three touchdown passes against them last week.

Rivers can be started with confidence as a low-end QB1 in Week 15.

Streamer options: Mitch Trubisky at MIN (11% rostered), Derek Carr vs. LAC (47% rostered), Drew Lock vs. BUF (11% rostered), Baker Mayfield at NYG (41% rostered), Teddy Bridgewater at GB (32% rostered), Nick Mullens at DAL (5% rostered)

Week 16 streaming options: Jalen Hurts at DAL (17% rostered), Baker Mayfield at NYJ (41% rostered), Mitch Trubisky at JAX (11% rostered), Drew Lock at LC (11% rostered)

Running backs

Lynn Bowden Jr./DeAndre Washington, Dolphins

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. NE	1%/24%	$14/$14

If you need proof running backs are drying up, we're leading this section with a wide receiver. Bowden mostly lined up in the slot on Sunday, but he's listed as an RB or at least holds RB/WR eligibility on most sites.

That dual status makes him an intriguing add in half PPR or full PPR formats after hauling in seven of his nine targets for 82 yards and adding two yards on the ground in a loss to the Chiefs.

Bowden's inflated stat line came as a result of DeVante Parker, Mike Gesicki, and Jakeem Grant all leaving the game with an injury. With their statuses for Week 15 in doubt, Bowden becomes a flex play who could lead the Dolphins in receiving once again.

Washington disappointed as an injury replacement filling in for Myles Gaskin (COVID-19), Matt Breida (COVID-19), and Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), but he did lead the backfield in touches by a wide margin with 15.

If that trio remains sidelined, Washington will likely encounter a much more favorable game script this week against the Patriots, making him another flex option.

Jeff Wilson Jr., 49ers

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
at DAL	19%	$14

Raheem Mostert is playing through the effects of a high ankle sprain, so the 49ers' backfield has devolved into a time-share, with Wilson taking on a larger role in recent weeks.

Wilson has logged 40-plus yards from scrimmage in three consecutive contests, including 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Washington.

With the Cowboys ranking among the 10 easiest fantasy matchups for running backs, both Mostert and Wilson should get a chance to produce in Week 15. Treat them as RB3/flex options, with RB2 upside if they can find the end zone.

High-upside backups Alexander Mattison (28% rostered), Carlos Hyde (27% rostered), and Tony Pollard (21% rostered) should be rostered in most leagues.

Flex options: Gus Edwards vs. JAX (32% rostered), Zack Moss at DEN (52% rostered), Phillip Lindsay vs. BUF (44% rostered), Mark Ingram vs. JAX (40% rostered)

Risky flex options: Peyton Barber vs. SEA (9% rostered), Cordarrelle Patterson at MIN (11% rostered), Trayveon Williams vs. PIT (0% rostered), Kalen Ballage at LV (19% rostered), Sony Michel at MIA (13% rostered)

Injury stash: Rashaad Penny (4% rostered)

Wide receivers

Jared C. Tilton / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Tim Patrick/KJ Hamler, Broncos

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. BUF	28%/3%	$19/$5

You're forcing me to write about Patrick again?

Patrick, who's still available in 72% of leagues, has now posted 60-plus yards and/or a touchdown in eight of his last 10 games. The one appearance when he didn't hit the mark came when Kendall Hinton played as the Broncos' emergency quarterback.

The wideout should be in the WR3 conversation every week, and he deserves a spot in your lineup.

His teammate Hamler also got in on the action this week, catching two long touchdown passes and finishing with 86 yards. The rookie is a much riskier play than Patrick, but he could be used as a flex in deeper formats.

Allen Lazard/Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Packers

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. CAR	38%/20%	$14/14

Lazard and Valdes-Scantling have traded usable fantasy weeks over the last month, with at least one of them putting up 50-plus yards and/or a touchdown each week.

That back-and-forth might change this weekend when the Packers host the Panthers in the second part of the league's Saturday doubleheader. Carolina just allowed Drew Lock to throw for 280 yards and four touchdowns, which clearly means Aaron Rodgers will finish with 500 yards and 10 touchdowns against that same defense.

If Patrick and Hamler came up big for fantasy managers when facing the Panthers, there's a good chance Lazard and MVS will produce in this contest.

Curtis Samuel, Michael Pittman Jr., and Keke Coutee are around the 60% rostered mark and should be rostered in almost all leagues.

Flex options: Sammy Watkins at NO (54% rostered), Sterling Shepard vs. CLE (49% rostered), Rashard Higgins at NYG (12% rostered), Nelson Agholor at LAC (36% rostered), Russell Gage vs. TB (11% rostered), Jalen Reagor at ARI (22% rostered), Chad Hansen at IND (2% rostered), Gabriel Davis at DEN (7% rostered)

Risky flex options: Michael Gallup vs. SF (44% rostered), Emmanuel Sanders vs. KC (40% rostered), Tre'Quan Smith vs. KC (9% rostered), Tyron Johnson vs. LV (0% rostered), James Washington at CIN (5% rostered), Mack Hollins vs. NE (0% rostered), Scotty Miller at ATL (5% rostered), Danny Amendola at TEN (2% rostered), Darnell Mooney at MIN (10% rostered), Mecole Hardman at NO (23% rostered)

Tight ends

Peter G. Aiken / Getty Images Sport / Getty

Irv Smith Jr., Vikings

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. CHI	6%	$5

Smith was tagged as a potential breakout candidate before the season, but the Vikings' instance on him splitting the workload with Kyle Rudolph - combined with some time missed due to injury - has limited the Alabama product to a pair of decent fantasy days in 2020.

However, Smith showcased his potential with Rudolph sidelined in Week 14, erupting for 63 yards and a touchdown. It was like a glimpse into the future to when the Vikings finally start deploying him as a featured part of their offense.

If Rudolph can't suit up this week, Smith will be a high-end TE2 streamer against the Bears.

Cole Kmet, Bears

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
at MIN	6%	$1

Jimmy Graham may have vultured a touchdown this week, but Kmet has been the Bears' lead tight end for the last month, playing over 70% of the team's snaps during that stretch.

The rookie has been targetted 14 times over the last two weeks, turning that into five catches for 37 yards and a score in Week 13, and then four grabs for 41 yards on Sunday.

That's enough to put Kmet into the streamer mix, a rare accomplishment for a first-year tight end.

Streamer options: Logan Thomas vs. SEA (57% rostered), Tyler Higbee vs. NYJ (48% rostered), Trey Burton vs. HOU (36% rostered), Jordan Reed at DAL (24% rostered), Harrison Bryant at NYG (1% rostered)

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. BUF	28%/3%	$19/$5

You're forcing me to write about Patrick again?

The wideout should be in the WR3 conversation every week, and he deserves a spot in your lineup.

Allen Lazard/Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Packers

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. CAR	38%/20%	$14/14

Lazard and Valdes-Scantling have traded usable fantasy weeks over the last month, with at least one of them putting up 50-plus yards and/or a touchdown each week.

Tight ends

Irv Smith Jr., Vikings

Next Up	Rostered	FAB
vs. CHI	6%	$5

Defenses

Week 15 streamers

Team	Next Up	Rostered
Titans	vs. DET	37%
Browns	at NYG	50%
Patriots	at MIA	48%
Vikings	at CHI	46%
Cardinals	vs. PHI	24%
Eagles	at ARI	27%

Favorable Week 16 schedules: Browns at NYJ (50% rostered), Texans vs. CIN (18% rostered), Buccaneers at DET (53% rostered)

Now that the draft is behind us, NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds are out. Not surprisingly, No. 1 pick Joe Burrow is the early favorite. Burrow will likely be an immediate starter with the Cincinnati Bengals, giving him a good opportunity to nail down the award like last year's top pick, Kyler Murray, did in 2019.

One variable bettors need to consider this season is the uncertainty around NFL training camps and the preseason. A delayed start to camps will hurt rookies, so bettors need to focus on players who are best situated to get playing time immediately.

Here are the 2020 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds, along with a few deeper looks at players who bettors should buy and sell based on the early numbers.

Player	Odds
Joe Burrow	+225
Tua Tagovailoa	+750
Clyde Edwards-Helaire	+750

CeeDee Lamb	+1600
J.K. Dobbins	+1600
Justin Herbert	+1700
Henry Ruggs III	+1800

Jalen Reagor	+2500
Ke'Shawn Vaughn	+3000
Brandon Aiyuk	+3300

Laviska Shenault Jr.	+6600
KJ Hamler	+6600
Jalen Hurts	+7000
Cole Kmet	+7000
Jordan Love	+7500
Jake Fromm	+7500

Odds listed for players +7500 and shorter

Buy

D'Andre Swift, RB, Lions (+1000)

Swift should make an immediate impact after falling to the Detroit Lions early in Round 2. Detroit finished 21st in rushing offense last season and has very little at the running back position outside of starter Kerryon Johnson. Injuries have been an issue for Johnson, limiting him to 18 games over his first two seasons. Swift adds a much-needed big-play element to the Lions' backfield, and he should push Johnson for the starting job if NFL training camps proceed. He's more appealing than the other players in the 10-1 range.

Cam Akers, RB, Rams (+2000)

Like Swift, the talented Akers should see significant playing time right away. The Los Angeles Rams parted ways with Todd Gurley, leaving only Darrell Henderson, Malcolm Brown, and John Kelly standing between Akers and a starting gig. Though the Rams will likely use a committee approach early in the season, Akers has the talent to separate himself from the pack and emerge as the full-time starter.

Akers managed 1,144 yards and 14 touchdowns last year on a Florida State team that had issues on the offensive line and at quarterback. He's also an excellent receiver out of the backfield, meaning Akers at 20-1 to win the award is good early value.

KJ Hamler, WR, Broncos (+6600)

Hamler is my favorite early bet at 66-1. A Percy Harvin-like big-play threat, Hamler can contribute as a receiver, running back, and return man. The Denver Broncos upgraded their offense in the draft by adding Hamler and Jerry Jeudy for second-year quarterback Drew Lock. Jeudy is sitting at +1400, but the versatile and explosive Hamler could have a bigger rookie impact. He's too good to pass up right now at those long odds.

Sell

Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins (+750)

Tagovailoa is a big name with a bright NFL future, but his +750 odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year are ludicrous. Unlike Burrow, who's pretty much locked in as a starter, Tua will likely begin the season behind Ryan Fitzpatrick for the Miami Dolphins. Quarterbacks who don't begin the campaign under center typically don't win the award; five signal-callers have won Offensive Rookie of the Year since 2010, and all five started from Day 1. A recent serious hip injury, a potentially limited training camp, and the presence of Fitzpatrick combine to make Tua a hard pass at +750.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts (+1000)

Taylor is a phenomenal talent, but he's probably the most overvalued player on the board at 10-1. The Indianapolis Colts already have Marlon Mack, who's coming off a 1,000-yard season, so Taylor doesn't have an easy path to being the primary running back. Another negative: Taylor was rarely used in the passing game at Wisconsin and needs to improve in pass protection. There's no doubt Taylor will have an impact for the run-heavy Colts, but it won't be nearly enough to win him Offensive Rookie of the Year.
