Myles Jack, one of the top defensive prospects in the 2016 draft, opted not to run the 40-yard dash at the UCLA pro day Tuesday.

The linebacker missed the majority of his junior season due to a knee injury and was not able to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine last month. However, many expected him to attempt the 40-yard dash at the pro day after gaining medical clearance in order to further boost his draft stock.

Jack did participate in positional drills, as well as the vertical and broad jumps. He posted a 40-inch vertical, which would have been the joint-best mark at the combine, and a 10-foot-4 broad jump, according to ESPN's Louis Riddick.

His numbers appear all the more impressive considering he's not yet thought to be 100 percent healthy.

Jack will host his own pro day on April 1, which will be his last chance to run the 40-yard dash and perhaps solidify his position as a top-10 pick.
