Broncos' Ward throws shade at Panthers' offense: 'We read 'em like a book'

The Denver Broncos' defense is being discussed as one of the best in history, and one of its centerpieces wasn't exactly a picture of humility following Super Bowl 50.

Safety T.J. Ward showed little regard for the Carolina Panthers' offensive unit when asked about Cam Newton and company.

Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall agreed with Ward, explaining that the Panthers didn't do anything special on offense.

It's hard to argue with Ward and Marshall, as the Broncos essentially shut down the Panthers' attack, holding Newton without a touchdown and sacking him six times.
