The New England Patriots opted to part ways with offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Tom Brady was hit over 20 times during the AFC Championship Game, which likely led to DeGuglielmo's departure.
It was the most quarterback hits that any team allowed this year.
DeGuglielmo became the Patriots offensive line coach in 2014 after Dante Scarnecchia retired after 30 years. Previously, DeGuglielmo worked with the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and a host of college teams throughout his career.
New England surrendered 38 sacks in the regular season, while playing with a makeshift offensive line for the vast majority of the year. Left tackle Nate Solder was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after tearing his biceps in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys.
