New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo left Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.
Mayo was taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
The Patriots have already lost fellow linebacker Jamie Collins, and Dont'a Hightower is banged up, leaving the defense thin up the middle.
Mayo hasn't had his best season, tallying 47 tackles over 16 games - by far the lowest output of his career.
