Colin Kaepernick appears to be the obvious beneficiary of the San Francisco 49ers hiring Chip Kelly as head coach, in more ways than one.

Coming off the worst year of his professional career, in which he was supplanted by Blaine Gabbert, Kaepernick's jersey and other merchandise were put on clearance in November.

Kelly's offense is expected to accentuate the best of Kaepernick's rushing ability, and the team appears to anticipate an uptick in jersey sales.

The 49ers told Rosenberg their concessionaire makes the decision on pricing.
