Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis made no promises about where his team will play in 2016 after it was announced the St. Louis Rams will move to Los Angeles, with the San Diego Chargers having the first option to join.

"I don't know where we'll be," Davis said when asked where the team will play in the future. "My lease at the Coliseum is expired ... America, the world, is possibility.

"We don't have a lease anywhere," Davis added, according to Scott Bair of CSNCalifornia. "We'll see where Raider nation ends up."

He briefly attended the Los Angeles relocation press conference along with fellow owners and commissioner Roger Goodell, and said the decision wasn't a win for the Raiders.

Davis wouldn't speculate about other possible markets for his team, but did say the $100 million offering from the league "won't bridge the gap."

The team released a brief statement on the situation late Tuesday:

The Raiders congratulate Stan Kroenke and the Rams on their successful bid for relocation to Los Angeles. The Raiders will now turn our attention to exploring all options to find a permanent stadium solution. We thank fans throughout the Raider Nation for their unrivaled passion and support.
