Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt left Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs and did not return due to a groin injury.

Watt limped off the field in the third quarter and was examined by trainers on the sidelines. He briefly returned to the game for one snap, but didn't appear right after colliding with Chiefs left tackle Eric Fisher. He remained down on the field briefly before walking off under his own power.

Prior to Watt leaving the game, the Chiefs had minimized his impact, as the reigning Defensive Player of the Year recorded one tackle.

Brandon Dunn replaced Watt in the starting lineup.
