Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals due to an abdominal injury.

Lynch missed a practice session early in the week, but the absence was accompanied by a non-injury designation. His abdominal issue wasn't disclosed until Friday, indicating he may have suffered the injury mid-week.

Lynch has a long history of playing through various ailments and still managing to do so at a high level.

"He thinks he'll be okay to play Sunday," Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said. "Felt something in abdomen. Something he's dealt with before."

He's appeared in six of Seattle's first eight games, recording 375 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 103 carries.

The five-time Pro Bowler's presence would be crucial for the Seahawks' running game against an Arizona defense that's once again among the league's most stout.
