Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol, and participated in practice on Wednesday.
Bridgewater suffered a concussion on a hit while scrambling in the team's Week 9 victory over the St. Louis Rams.
The 23-year-old's quick turnaround is a positive sign for his status for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Bridgewater will still have to undergo further tests before he's cleared to start in Week 10.
After taking a hit from Rams cornerback Lamarcus Joyner, Bridgewater lay motionless with his eyes closed for several moments, until he was able to get up and move off the field under his own power.
Head coach Mike Zimmer said Monday he expects Bridgewater to play against the Raiders.
Bridgewater apparently didn't suffer from any significant symptoms, as he was well enough to go out for dinner with his family after the game.
