Jason Pierre-Paul has been out of sight in the two months since a Fourth of July fireworks accident saw him lose both an index finger and a portion of the thumb on his right hand.
Pierre-Paul's official return to the New York Giants was further delayed when he and the team disagreed over his readiness to play, but The New York Daily News recently obtained a photo that shows the condition of his still-recovering hand.

While the star defensive end remains confident that he'll still be able to play at a high level, there is currently no timetable for his return to the field.
