The Seattle Seahawks reached an injury settlement with Robert Turbin, allowing the running back to become a free agent, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.
Turbin was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury suffered in a preseason game against the San Diego Chargers.
The 25-year-old rushed for 310 yards last season, along with 186 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Turbin became expendable when Fred Jackson agreed to a one-year deal with the club Friday. The Utah State product was a member of the Seahawks' Super Bowl-winning team in 2013.
