Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown jammed his ring finger against the Buffalo Bills, but X-rays came back negative, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Northeast Ohio Media Group.
McCown struggled Thursday, going 7-of-10, throwing two interceptions to Bills' rookie cornerback Ronald Darby. Browns head coach Mike Pettine confirmed post-game McCown would remain as the team's starter.
The veteran quarterback's hand was wrapped after the game. McCown said that he was unsure whether he'd need to undergo an MRI.
