Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor made a strong case for the team's starting job with an effective performance Thursday against the Cleveland Browns.

Taylor went 7-of-10 for 65 yards and contributed 41 rushing yards on four carries.

The 26-year-old is winning over the Bills' staff with his ability to make throws out of the pocket. EJ Manuel started the second half of the game.

Taylor spent the first four seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens, and was a heralded recruit coming out of high school.
