Sapp has been charged with three counts of domestic violence stemming from an April 28th incident involving his long-time girlfriend at a Las Vegas hotel, according to TMZ.
Citing the police report, TMZ reports that Sapp bit his girlfriend's middle finger, threw a belt at her and stepped on her face while wearing sandals. In addition to other acts of assault, Sapp reportedly left the victim with multiple injuries.
