The Oakland Raiders signed safety Larry Asante to a restricted free-agent tender Tuesday, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Asante recorded 24 tackles and a forced fumble in six games with the Raiders in 2014, before suffering a season-ending quad injury.
The 27-year-old previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts.
Oakland also signed nine other free agents including wide receivers Rod Streater and Andre Holmes, and safety Brandian Ross.
