The San Diego Chargers signed defensive lineman Mitch Unrein to a two-year contract Wednesday. Financial terms were not announced.

Unrein had spent his entire four-year career with the Denver Broncos and recorded one tackle last season.

The veteran lineman has occasionally been used as a tight end when reporting as an eligible receiver.
