After letting several key players go in free agency, the New England Patriots are keeping one around.
The Patriots have agreed to terms with nose tackle Alan Branch, according to his agent.
Pro Football Talk is reporting it's a two-year contract worth $6.6 million.
The Patriots opted to let Vince Wilfork leave, so Branch could see his role in the middle of the defensive line increase this season.
Branch was a decent run stuffer in 2014 and recorded 13 tackles in eight games with the Pats.
Prior to joining New England last year, Branch missed only one game in the previous five seasons with the Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals.
