Report: Patriots' Gostkowski signs franchise tender to become highest-paid kicker

New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski is now the highest-paid kicker in the league, according to Albert Breer of NFL Network.

The veteran signed his $4.58-million franchise offer Friday and, barring a long-term contract extension, is guaranteed that salary for 2015.
Gostkowski converted 35 of 37 field goals in 2014 and has been one of the league's best kickers over the past four seasons.
