PHOTO: Seahawks' Earl Thomas undergoes shoulder surgery
Earl Thomas underwent shoulder surgery Tuesday, and if you want proof, look no further than his Instagram page.
The procedure was aimed at fixing a torn labrum, an injury the Seattle Seahawks safety played through during the Super Bowl.
That type of surgery typically requires a 6-to-8 month recovery time, which puts the start of the 2015 season in doubt for Thomas. However, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported Thomas will be ready to go for Week 1.
Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor, fellow members of the Seahawks' secondary, are also dealing with significant injuries, but they won't require surgery.
