Bringing a member of the Seattle Seahawks' staff with him to Atlanta, new Falcons head coach Dan Quinn will hire Marquand Manuel as the team's secondary coach and senior defensive consultant, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported.
Manuel played safety in the NFL with six different teams from 2002-09 and served as an assistant with Quinn on the Seahawks' coaching staff for the past three seasons.
The Falcons confirmed several other coaching hires at Quinn's introductory press conference Tuesday, including Kyle Shanahan as offensive coordinator and Richard Smith as defensive coordinator.
