Seattle Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril left Sunday's Super Bowl against the New England Patriots after suffering a head injury.
He's currently being evaluated for a concussion and his return is questionable.
Avril suffered the injury during Bobby Wagner's interception return early in the third quarter. He was attended to on-field before making his way to the sideline.
The seven-year veteran is one of the Seahawks' most disruptive edge rushers and his absence would impact the defense's ability to get consistent pressure in the passing game.
