Former New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan could be making the move to the broadcast booth if he fails to land a head coaching position.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, Ryan is meeting with ESPN executives on Tuesday for a possible role on the network, in the event a coaching gig doesn't materialize.
Ryan was fired by the Jets on Monday, along with general manager John Idzik. During his six seasons with the organization, Ryan was 50-52, including 4-2 in the postseason.
