Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams will not return to Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys after suffering an ankle injury.
This is the second consecutive week Williams has been forced out of a game early. He injured his shoulder in the Redskins' Week 16 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and was considered a game-time decision heading into Sunday.
Tom Compton shifted over to left tackle in Williams' absence, with Tyler Polumbus taking over duties at right tackle.
