Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that left tackle Russell Okung will be sidelined "a week or so" with a bruised lung.
"He’s pretty sore now," Carroll said during an appearance on ESPN 710, according to the Seattle Times. “He has a bruised lung is what he's got.… got picked off pretty good so going to be a little bit for him."
Okung suffered the injury while getting blocked by San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald after an interception during Sunday's 17-7 victory. He was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
