San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York apologized to fans after the team's embarrassing 19-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.
Thank you #49ersfaithful for coming out strong tonight. This performance wasn't acceptable. I apologize for that

This is a rare occurrence for the defacto owner of the 49ers, who appears to be fed up with the state of the team. The environment in San Francisco now appears to be turning hostile towards head coach Jim Harbaugh.
The last time Jed York offered up words like that, Mike Singletary wasn't the head coach much longer. Not saying this is exactly the same...

Rumors are swirling about Harbaugh's job security and the ugly loss could be the final straw for the difficult coach. General manager Trent Baalke and York were seen lingering in the locker room as well as team president Paraag Marathe.
The scene was described as unusual and "interesting" by Mercury News beat reporter Tim Kawakami following the game. He claimed he had never seen the 49ers brain trust lingering to speak with Harbaugh.
