Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin exited Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals with an apparent head injury following a helmet-to-helmet collision with Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson.

Both players were on the ground for a short while before walking off the field with the assistance of the team's training staff.

Maclin was taken back to the locker room to go through the league's concussion protocol.

Fox Sports's Jen Hale reported that Maclin had blood coming out of his ear as he walked to the locker room.

He has been tabbed as questionable to return.
