New York Jets owner Woody Johnson became the latest person to speak about NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's role with the league.
Johnson purchased the Jets in January 2000, and has seen his team's value skyrocket to $1.6 billion, according to Forbes.
The Jets' owner was asked Saturday about his thoughts on Goodell.
“I haven't talked to the league owners recently, we have a meeting next week so I'll get to see them all,” Johnson said.
"I think the general opinion is that Roger has over the last 15 (years) that I've known Roger and as commissioner for the last number of years - is that he's an honest person, trying to do a good job. Normally very good judgment. I think the owners are going to be supportive.”
Johnson has joined a chorus of owners who have supported Goodell after Ray Rice's suspension. The punishment was handed down after Rice's domestic assault video surfaced and was made public.
The Jets will play against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
