The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that center Joe Hawley has been placed on injured reserve.
Hawley suffered a knee injury in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings and had to be carted off the field.
Thank you all for the support and well wishes. I am looking forward to this challenge and will become stronger because of it. I will #RiseUp

The Falcons also sent right tackle Lamar Holmes (foot) to IR and placed safety William Moore (shoulder) on IR-recall, which will sideline him for the next eight weeks.
To fill the vacant roster spots, the Falcons promoted guard Harland Gunn and safety Sean Baker from the practice squad, and signed tackle Cameron Bradfield.
