PHOTOS: Prospects bringing their mom to the draft

Andy Marlin / USA TODAY Sports

When the NFL pushed back the draft this season, the big event ended up falling on the same weekend as Mother's Day. With that in mind, a number of the players expected to go in Thursday night's first round decided to bring their mom as a date.

Here's Johnny Manziel and his mother with Hall of Famer Barry Sanders.

Teddy Bridgewater and his mother take in an interview on the red carpet.

Blake Bortles, the third of the "big three" quarterbacks, also stops for an interview on the red carpet.

And then there's Michigan's Taylor Lewan and his mom stealing the show by sporting matching shades.
